What Age Do You Start?
I start training at 8 weeks of age depending on your puppy’s breed and personality. If you just received your puppy at 8 weeks of age, you will want him/her to get settled into his new house for a week or so before training.
If you get your puppy and he is shy, scared, shaking, hiding under tables and behind couches, you will want to wait a few weeks to let him settle into his new surroundings.
If you get your puppy and he is energetic, smiley, biting, growling, confident, etc., you can begin training.
We will talk about your puppy’s temperament to determine what is best for him as well as the family.
